God Alone!

Lord, you are such an unchanging God. Your faithfulness never wanes nor fluctuates. I can depend on you and I really appreciate that: I am sure that you know (smile). Lord, I can never imagine trusting my life with anyone else but you. Friends come and go. Family change, showing different sides of themselves based on this and that. They say, “That’s life!” But YOU. Lord, I can depend on your Word. You put your words before You and You say that before one Word passes to be untrue, then heaven and earth shall pass. You, oh Lord, are the reason that I live. Choosing Your “life” is the best choice for me.

Sometimes I get so busy with life. Kids, living, making something out of nothing… I get tired. Sometimes, I depend too much on my strength so much so that flesh is all I got to depend on when I am spiritually dry. I want that to change Lord. Teach me to get down on my knees in prayer to you, consistently. And when I get up dear Lord, help me not to try to fix those very things myself if I think that your timing if off. May I never get too busy with the things that I have already asked you to work out. Instead, give me peace that makes my heart still in wait on You.

I love You Lord!
